Nina L. Khrushcheva is a Professor of International Affairs at The New School University. She is contributing editor to Project Syndicate: Association of Newspapers Around the World. Khrushcheva graduated from Moscow State University in 1987 and received a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from Princeton University in 1998. Her academic career continued at Columbia University and The New School in New York. Khrushcheva has published many articles, she is the Director of the Russian Project at World Policy Institute and a member of the think tank Council of Foreign Relations. In March 2022, Khrushcheva condemned Vladimir Putin’s war against Ukraine and stated that her grandfather Nikita Khrushchev would have considered this “despicable”.
