Lyubov Sobol is a lawyer of the Anti-Corruption Foundation established by the Russian opposition and Alexei Navalny. In 2011, she graduated from Moscow State University, participated in the Russian opposition in 2011-2012, participated in the establishment of the political party People’s Alliance (later Russia of the Future) in 2012, and was a member of the Central Council of the party from 2018. After numerous charges, court cases and convictions, she fled Russia in summer 2021, and now lives in Estonia.
